Dwarka
Dwarka, on Gujarat's western coast, is one of the four holiest pilgrimage cities of Hinduism, believed to have been Lord Krishna's capital. The Dwarkadhish Temple, rising from the waterfront, is ringed by the ruins of a legendary underwater city, and the nearby lighthouse at the confluence offers views across the Gulf of Kutch. From October to May, the temple town fills with pilgrims from across India.
