Ranthambore
Ranthambore National Park is the most famous place in India to see a wild Bengal tiger, and one of the few where daytime sightings are genuinely likely. The park surrounds a 10th-century fort and is criss-crossed by lake-ruined valleys where tigers patrol ancient causeways. Jeep and cantor safaris run morning and evening, with leopard, sloth bear, sambar, and crocodile as the supporting cast.
