Jaipur

Jaipur is Rajasthan’s capital and the third stop on the Golden Triangle. Amber Fort, reached by jeep up a hillside, is the highlight; the Hawa Mahal and City Palace in the old walled city show the same pink sandstone that gives Jaipur its nickname. The bazaars here are known for textiles, gemstones and jootis (traditional leather shoes).
