Munnar

Munnar, high in the Western Ghats, is a landscape of endless tea plantations that spill down steep green valleys. The Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri tahr, the waterfalls of Attukal and Lakkam, and viewpoints over the Anamudi peak — the highest in South India — fill two relaxed days.
